How to create page redirects

If you're moving an existing website to 22Slides, it's likely the addresses to your individual pages may change, even you use the same domain name.

For example, your old website may have a "contact" page at this address:

yourdomain.com/pages/contact.html

And your 22Slides site may have that same page at this address:

yourdomain.com/contact

In order to keep both search engines and links from other sites to yours happy and functioning, it may be wise to create redirects on your new site, to make sure visitors aren't receiving "404 Not Found" messages.

To do this:

Go to the "Settings" section of your control panel.

Click the "Custom Code" tab.

Then click "Redirects".

Click "Add a New Redirect" and enter both your old page address, and the new one you'd like it to redirect to.

You can make as many as you like, and can redirect to any page on your site.

Click "Save Changes".
